Welcome to your Open Water Diving Course, with Polis Diving Centre (PDC).
PADI (Professional Association of Diving Instructors) has been leading the world in SCUBA Diving for over 30 years. Professional PADI members teach the vast majority of the word's recreational divers, issuing nearly 8000.000 certifications each year.
PADI Open Water Diver Course is the most popular dive programme in the world and your ticket to a lifetime of intense adventure. The course consists of five confined water sessions, Where you'll learn how to use the equipment and also become familiar with the fundamentals of diving. There will be a manual for you to read which will be backed up with 5 knowledge development sessions in our site classroom, using state of the art audiovisual equipment. You will then be taken on 4 open water dives where you will discover the wonders of the aquatic world.
Your open water dives will take place along the Akamas Peninsular.
Virtually anyone with good health and reasonable fitness can learn to SCUBA dive. Participants as young as ten may complete the PADI Open Water Diver programme and receive a junior credential until they reach fifteen years of age. Upon successful completion of the course, you will receive the PADI Open Water Diver certification, which is recognised worldwide.
A certification allows you to:

- Have your cylinder filled
- Participate in diving activities
- Take continuing education courses
- Dive in areas under conditions similar to those in which you have trained or have experience
