The "Dive Today" Open Water Modular System
There are many of you who wish to enjoy scuba diving who deny yourselves the opportunity because you are unable to make the time commitment. There are those of you who have doubts about committing to a full time course until you have tried it!
In the spring of 1999 the "Dive Today" modular system for entry level training was introduced by PADI (Professional Association of Diving Instructors) which allows everyone to scuba dive (subject to a medical questionnaire). The level of commitment being decided by YOU the CUSTOMER. So instead of committing to the whole course, it is now possible to learn to dive in small units separated by no more than six months. Start with a try dive in a pool, if you decide diving is for you extend this with a dive in the sea (Discover Scuba Diving). Then at your convenience add some theory and more water sessions to reach Scuba Diver, and so on eventually to Open Water Scuba Diver.
