RYA Short Range Certificate (SRC VHF Radio)

Make no mistake the VHF Radio is the most important piece of safety equipment you will ever purchase or use on a boat. In a fun environment we will show you how to operate the equipment and that you conform to the legal requirements for it's safe use. 1 day shore based


Our one day course and exam will equip you for all situations. You will learn how to use marine radio including the latest DSC (Digital Selector Controller) radio equipment, the Global maritime Digital Service, Systems (GMDSS) and Routine, Urgency and Distress procedures.

Once completed successfully you will be eligible for the RYA SRC (Short Range Certificate). This certificate is recognised worldwide. The price of the course include all books, use of VHF radio/DSC simulators and RYA certification.
